Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 8, 2026
PreQualiFly, LLC (“PreQualiFly,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides websites, a web application, and a mobile application that help licensed mortgage loan originators create, manage, and store prequalification documents (collectively, the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you use the Service, including prequalifly.app and app.prequalifly.app.
By using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Who this policy covers
This policy applies to:
- Users of the Service (licensed or registered mortgage loan originators and related professionals who create an account); and
- Website visitors who browse prequalifly.app, submit the contact form, or follow an advertising link.
The Service is a professional tool. It is not a consumer lending app, and it is not directed to children under 18.
2. Information we collect
2.1 Account and profile information.
When you register or update your Loan Officer profile, we collect information such as email address, authentication credentials, name, company name, NMLS number, phone number, professional address, signature, and (if you upload one) a company logo.
2.2 Buyer and document data you enter.
You may enter buyer and co-buyer names and other prequalification details (for example loan amount, interest rate, occupancy, documentation selections, comments, and related fields). We also store PDFs and signatures generated in the Service. You decide what borrower information to enter. You are responsible for having any authority or consent needed to enter that information.
2.3 Billing and payment information.
Subscriptions are processed by our payment processor (currently Stripe). We do not store full payment-card numbers. Stripe may collect card details, billing name, billing address, and tax information. We receive related records such as Stripe customer and subscription IDs, plan selection, trial and payment status, and limited billing metadata needed to operate the account.
A payment method is required to start a trial. Unless you cancel before the five (5) day trial ends, the selected plan is charged when the trial expires.
2.4 Contact and support.
If you use the contact form or email us, we collect your name, email address, message, and any other information you include. The contact form may also send advertising attribution (UTM) data captured on our marketing site.
2.5 Usage, device, and diagnostic data.
We collect app and site usage events, screen views, approximate device/browser information, crash reports, and similar diagnostics. We use Google Firebase Authentication, Firestore, Storage, Analytics, and Crashlytics to operate and secure the Service.
2.6 Cookies and advertising attribution.
On prequalifly.app we may store a first-party cookie (currently for up to 90 days) that records UTM parameters from the URL (source, medium, campaign, content, and term). We may also record an ad-visit event when those parameters are present. We use this to understand which campaigns brought you to the site and, if you later subscribe, to associate that attribution with your account.
If we enable Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or LinkedIn Insight Tag on the marketing site, those providers may set their own cookies or similar identifiers as described in their policies.
2.7 Security and anti-abuse.
The contact form uses Google reCAPTCHA. We may also store an NMLS index record (NMLS number, trial-used flag, and related status) to prevent repeat free trials and other abuse.
3. How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and authenticate accounts and keep the Service secure;
- Provide prequalification forms, PDFs, buyer profiles, market displays, and related features;
- Process trials, subscriptions, renewals, taxes, cancellations, and refunds through Stripe;
- Verify professional eligibility, including NMLS status using public sources such as NMLS Consumer Access;
- Respond to contact and support requests;
- Measure marketing campaigns and improve the Service;
- Detect fraud, trial abuse, and Terms of Service violations;
- Comply with law and enforce our agreements.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not share it with third parties for their independent marketing.
We share information with service providers that help us operate the Service, including:
- Google Firebase (authentication, database, file storage, analytics, crash reporting);
- Stripe (payment processing and customer billing portal);
- Google reCAPTCHA (contact-form abuse prevention);
- Email and hosting providers (currently including Hostinger for site hosting and transactional or contact email);
- Professional advisers or authorities when required by law or to protect rights, safety, or the Service.
Those providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies.
5. Borrower information
Buyer and co-buyer details in the Service are entered by you, the licensed user. PreQualiFly processes that information to provide the Service to you. We do not use borrower information to market to consumers. You must not enter information you are not authorized to handle, and you remain responsible for your own compliance program, including privacy, advertising, and recordkeeping rules that apply to your licensed activity.
6. Retention and deletion
We keep account, profile, document, and billing records for as long as the account is active and as needed to provide the Service.
If you cancel, access continues through the end of the then-current trial or paid period. When that period expires, we delete the account, client/borrower profiles, and associated data, except:
- limited residual copies in backups for a short period;
- records we must keep for legal holds, tax, accounting, or dispute resolution;
- NMLS index information reasonably needed to prevent another free trial or other abuse;
- Stripe records retained by Stripe under its policies.
If you request account deletion in the product, we cancel future renewal. If a trial or paid period is still in effect, deletion of the account and associated data occurs when that period ends; otherwise it is processed promptly, subject to the exceptions above.
You may also email info@prequalifly.app to request access, correction, or deletion.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures, including Firebase and Stripe security features. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
8. Your choices and rights
You may:
- Update profile information in the Service;
- Cancel a subscription or request account deletion in the product;
- Ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold, subject to the retention exceptions above.
Depending on where you live (including California and other U.S. states with consumer privacy laws), you may have additional rights to know, delete, or correct personal information, or to opt out of certain sharing. We do not sell personal information. To make a request, email info@prequalifly.app. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.
9. Children
The Service is for adults who are licensed mortgage professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be noted in the Service or by email. Continued use after an update becomes effective constitutes acceptance, except where law requires otherwise.
